FAQ

What are The Brush Bar classes like?
In a relaxed, social, group setting, an artist will guide you through replicating the nights featured painting step by step. Whether you are an aspiring van Gogh or just looking to explore your creative side, you are sure to go home with a painting that is uniquely yours. By the end of the evening you will be amazed at the artwork you have created!
Do I need to sign up in advance?
Because of limited seating, signing up in advance is always recommended. You can register on the website or give us a call. If a class is sold out, give us a call to be put on our wait list. Due to last minute cancellations, we may be able to fit you in!
What is the cost of The Brush Bar class?
The price ranges between $25-$50 depending on the class. The prices can be found on the calendar for all classes.

Approximately 2-2.5 hours.
What is included in the class price?
We provide Canvases, Paint, Brushes, Easels, Aprons and the step by step instruction. Your first glass of wine or beer is also included!
What do I wear?
We will provide aprons, but we recommend wearing something you wouldn't mind getting paint on- just in case! Remember- we are using acrylic paints so be sure to leave nice jackets and purses at home! The Brush Bar cannot be responsible for any paint damage.
Can I bring in food?
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring in food or small snacks.
Can I bring in my own wine?
Since we have our liquor license, we are unable to have any outside alcohol brought into the studio. We have a great selection of wine and beer available at our in-studio bar for purchase, but remember, you’re first drink is always included! Non-drinker, no problem! We’ve got sodas, ice tea and juice available as well!
Are children allowed at The Brush Bar?
Due to the difficulty of the paintings and the mature nature of our evening classes, children under 12 years of age are discouraged. However, our Family Day classes are a great choice for kids ages 6 and up.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! We offer gift certificates right on our website! You can purchase your gift certificate right from this link.
What time do I need to arrive for a class?
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to get checked in, gather all of your materials, and make a visit to the bar!
What is your cancellation policy?
Because of our waiting lists, we allow you 48 hours before the start of the event for a full refund or class credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of your event will result in a class credit for future use. Failure to attend an event with no cancellation notice is subject to a full charge of the event price. No refunds or store credit will be offered. Cancellations should be made by phone or email providing us the opportunity to fill the space.
When does the new schedule come out?
We try to post the schedule at least a month in advance.
I missed a painting that I really wanted to paint! How often will you repeat paintings?
Please let us know! We will keep this in mind when scheduling the next months’ paintings.
Do you provide alcohol?
A variety of beer, wine and champagne are available for purchase, but remember that your first glass is included in the class price. We sell additional wine by the glass or by the bottle.
If I come with a friend or a group, can we all sit together?
We always try to seat friends and parties together...just be sure to let us know when making your reservation and we'll be sure to make the appropriate seating arrangements.
What is Open Studio?
Open Studio is a time where we open our studio up to the public so that you can take your creativity to a whole new level! This is not an instructor led session, but rather a free style painting or crafting session. We supply all painting materials and you supply the creativity. Walk-ins are welcome and you are able to stay as long as you’d like within our Open Studio hours. Please check the online calendar for up-to-date days and times.
